I can’t believe where this year has gone already can you? One minute we were in a winter lockdown, then all of a sudden it was May bank holiday and now I can’t believe I’m saying happy September to you. Quite honestly I don’t know about you but I’m really pleased to see the back of August ? it has been such grey miserable weather and I’m hoping for that Indian summer that we sometimes get in September.
I was reading a couple of weeks ago in one of those online diary of events that apparently September 1 is ginger cat appreciation day? I know a lot of these days of the year are complete rubbish but some of them I quite like the sound of, and this one I particularly liked the sound of as I make and sell lots of ginger kitties and my best friends have adopted two little ginger and white kittens whose names are Oscar and Theo, and they are the cutest little things you've ever seen.
I thought that ginger cats were an actual breed but on reading up all about these little beauties it seems lots of breeds can have ginger cats in them and the humble ginger Tom it’s not a breed of his own. So it is with great delight that I introduced to you (unless you saw them last year on social media) my beautiful cat baubles. And the reason that I am sharing this with you now is because I designed them last November and was absolutely inundated with orders which I couldn’t take on due to it being my busy time of year, so here is your opportunity to order your very own cat Christmas bauble which is personalised by way of a little tag on the top and I’m also giving you as one of my special subscribers a 10% discount code.
On the 17th of September there will be just 100 days to go before Christmas and I’m sure, like me, you will want to get a little bit more organised than last year? So this could actually be a really super gift for somebody special in your life if not for yourself.
Also in our cat range we have ginger cats and grey tabby cats sitting on a bobbin in 2 sizes, the very popular cat on the wall, and of course I do a cat on a wooden plaque which is in my Keepsake card and gift in one range.
This is absolutely perfect if you want to send either a special personalised birthday card or little gift to someone who really loves cats. So for all you cat lovers or anybody you know who is a cat lover Fiddley Diddley has loads of lovely ideas for you to buy as gifts or indeed to keep for yourself. Please visit my website by clicking the button below and enter the code Gingertomsrule to automatically receive 10% off your order.
In other news, the new Fiddley Diddley workshop studio and new shop is really coming on now. Keith has been working so hard right up to 9 pm most evenings trying to get this new build up and running for me, The cladding arrived yesterday which provided us all here at Fiddley Diddley HQ with lots of excitement as the packs were opened to reveal the colour which I will share with you a little bit later.
Quite honestly I can’t sleep at night I’m so excited and a couple of mornings I have had to get up at 3 and 4 am to jot down new thoughts and ideas for decor and of course what I am going to sell and also what classes I will teach.
I have come up with quite a few new ideas for my Crafternoon tea sessions and I now have seven different makes that can be chosen on the day, little mini projects that can be completed within a couple of hours followed by the most delicious afternoon tea served on three tier cake stands (which by the way have now arrived).
For those of you who can’t get to me please don’t worry as most of the kits will soon be available on my website for you to make at home. I will also be creating YouTube videos so that we can make it together, so out of this new experience there will be something for everyone.
I will send a separate newsletter as soon as I am ready to offer sessions and also shop opening dates, so please keep an eye on your inbox. Exciting times ahead! 🌟
Thank you for reading, hope you’re all having a lovely week so far?
