Christmas, Courses and Cake!

afternoon tea Christmas classes courses Crafternoon tea handmade shop

I am sitting here on this very wet and grey Thursday and although the sun isn’t shining my spirits have been lifted by the sight of the electrician who arrived this morning to start the electrics for my new studio.
I am now taking bookings for my Christmas pop-up shop which will be in my brand-new place every weekend in November and December 10 am – 8 pm.
I would absolutely love to welcome you so why don’t you book in and come and see me? ( booking essential due to limited parking and consideration for my neighbours)
I have been busy creating lots of new beautiful gifts which will only be available in the shop and not online, and loads of new creations in the pottery line to add to your collections.
I am also offering beautiful refreshments, proper coffee, and home-made delicious cakes by my daughter Amy from Angel bakery. Why not treat yourself and book to come for a magical Christmas afternoon tea, at just £16.95 enjoy your beautiful three tiered cake stand filled with Christmas themed sandwiches, savouries and of course those delicious cakes.
It’s been a long awaited dream of mine to open a craft workshop studio/shop and now the dream has become a reality.
The doors and windows went in this week so now we are on the interior, with just a month to go before we open, it’s all systems go.
I have courses now available to book online if you are interested in any of my classes ? please do go and have a look at what’s on offer from dollmaking to wire and paper sculpture there is something for everyone.
Of course I’m so busy at this time of year, I’m trying my best to concentrate on pottery making and still fulfilling orders but of course my heart wants to be in the new cabin and as the weeks go on I will be adding more classes to the online menu. Why not come and join me for one of my Crafternoon teas? A choice of mini projects followed by the most delicious afternoon tea, all in the theme of my cabin which will change monthly.
January‘s cabin theme is teapots and cupcakes and the cabin will be decorated to give you an experience rather than just an afternoon out. I came up with this idea as I used to be a caterer and I really love creating and baking so to combine the two really is a dream come true for me.
It won’t be like work, it will be an absolute pleasure to welcome you, and of course everything you will need to create your mini project, combined with my experience, time and expertise will be available for you so you take home a lovely finished product after you have enjoyed that delicious afternoon tea.
Please feel free to contact me if you would like to hold a small party perhaps a party of friends, or a hen party, or a special event or Christmas get together, we can take up to 8 people and would love to make a special day for you if we can.
My focus this month is Christmas themed items and as  there are just 86 days left till Christmas and here’s the early heads up to make sure you start looking at my website for all our fabulous new Christmas items when they are launched from 1st November.
Autumn is most definitely here and I love sitting in my workshop and watching the changing seasons I don’t mind the change in weather and the slow progression to the darker nights and I hope you’re all having a beautiful autumn so far?
Keep looking at my website, follow me on Facebook on both my pages Fiddley Diddley the little shop of lovely things and also Fiddley Diddley craft workshops pages to be kept up-to-date regularly with with all the goings on at Fiddley Diddley  HQ and don’t forget to get your booking in if you would like to come and see me at the pop up shop.
Lots of love
Lindsey X
